The service

Gyanos is a College and School operations platform for a single-institution deployment. Features may include academic structure, admissions, attendance, class routines, parent portals, leave and role-based access control. Availability of features depends on your institution’s deployment and configuration.

Accounts

Accounts are created and managed by your college administrators. You must keep credentials confidential, provide accurate information when requested and use the system only for legitimate educational and administrative purposes authorized by your institution.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt unauthorized access to data, accounts or systems.
• Do not misuse the product to harass others or violate applicable law.
• Do not disrupt service availability or reverse engineer except where permitted by law.

Institution responsibilities

The deploying college is responsible for user provisioning, academic data accuracy, parental consent where required and compliance with local education and privacy rules.

Intellectual property

Gyanos branding, software and marketing materials remain the property of Gyanos or its licensors. Your institution retains ownership of the academic and personal data it enters into its deployment.

Disclaimers

The marketing site and product are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Pricing shown on the marketing site is illustrative unless confirmed in a separate agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gyanos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages or for loss of data, profits or business arising from use of the site or product.

Privacy

Our practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
